In his new book, one of the leaders of the “Left Front”, historian A. Sakhnin talks about the stunning success of the Bolsheviks in 1917, when they turned into a leading revolutionary force and won in October from a little -known and small manner. He proves that contrary to the common opinion, the Bolsheviks were not conspirators who seized power as a result of a putsch. The materials given by A. Sakhnin indicate that the Bolsheviks found a wide support among the people: no matter how strange it seems to someone, but they were then the most democratic party. That is why, the author writes, “in the language of that era was called the“ revolutionary creativity of the masses ”gave unprecedented energy, which allowed to make incredible changes and change the course of world history.”
