Exhibition "from St. Petersburg to Moscow: Friendship of two engravers." Catalog

In June 2016, an exhibition of works by two artists was held at the Russian Academy of Arts: the world famous St. Petersburg master of xylography A.P. Ostroumova-Labedeva and Moscow artist N.V. Sinitsyna. The exhibition is dedicated to the 145th birthday of A.P. Ostroumova-Labedeva, whose work is assigned the first part of the exposition. The second part of the exposition tells about the work of N.V. Sinitsyna - a student of A.P. Ostroumova-Labedeva.
These two people were connected by strong friendship. Long -term business and creative communication was accompanied by constant correspondence, some of which are given in this publication, as well as photographs from personal archives. Articles about the creative path of these two masters will complement the idea of ​​the personalities and talent of artists.
