In the monograph, interdisciplinary analysis of the realities of European culture in the XXI century was carried out. Research authors argue that the latter becomes fundamentally different in relation to the outgoing era of industrial society. It is shown that the main line of development of modern culture in the old world is a movement from a high mission to entertainment and commercialization.
The book is addressed to representatives of the wide spectrum of humanities, as well as to all who are interested in the problems of modern European culture and contains not only analytical, but also reference information
