Onor de Balzac (1799-1850) is an outstanding French writer. His epic "human comedy", consisting of 90 novels and stories related to the general plan and many characters - the realistic picture of the French society is grandiose in breadth. Balzac created a gallery of strong, contradictory characters who do not stand the test by the power of money (one of the main topics of the epic), exposed the psychology of spiritual deformation - from the youthful romantic ideality for recognition of "prose of life".
