"Ethics of dust" (1866) is a treatise of the British art critic, writer and social thinker John Ruskin, made in the form of Platonic dialogues of the old professor and students. This unusual text serves as a kind of introduction into the problem of crystallization, the structural form inherent in the subject world surrounding us, and contains Ryskin’s thoughts about the education system, the development of European fine art and design and the place of man in the world. The book was written in the footsteps of lectures on the Women"s School of Winnington (Cheshire) in the fall of 1859
