Essays on the domestic historiography of the history of physical culture and sports

The author, doctor of pedagogical sciences, professor, considers various aspects of national historiography of the history of physical culture and sports. In the monograph, it was shown how the issues of the history of physical culture and sports were covered in Russian sources of the second half of the XIX - early XX century, presented the process of the origin of the Soviet history of physical culture and sports as science, analyzed the issues of research and other aspects of the history of physical culture and sports as science. The activities of the outstanding domestic historians of physical culture and sports, the physical and sports movement of the 1920s from the standpoint of the post-Soviet era are illuminated.
