Alexander Veniaminovich Khrabrovitsky (1912-1989), who began as a journalist, later became a literary critic, the best expert in the biography of V.G. Korolenko. He enjoyed the fame and respect of literary scholars and writers as a person who does not go to moral compromises and does not afraid to defend his point of view on acute public issues. In his memoirs, the Essay on my life "and" meetings" included in this book, and the diary also reflected the author’s difficult path from the faithful Stalinist views to the confrontation of official ideology: he helped A.I.
