Brave sailors and illustrious warriors have existed since ancient times. Performing their exploits, the heroes wanted to become like immortal gods. The rumor about them was transmitted from the mouth to the mouth, they sung by storytellers, inspired artists and musicians. Thus, folk traditions were created. The ancient Greeks also had such legends - it was Nikolai Kun who devoted his book to them.
On the basis of two poems, the only ones preserved into the whole of works of the ancient Greek epic, Kun talks about the quarrel of Achilles with Agamemnon, about the adventures of the Odysseus, the exploits of the Argonauts and many other bold warriors.
As in the lifetime edition of the author, photographs of sculptures and all kinds of images of ancient Greek heroes are selected in the book. And next to them, as if descending from the VAZ and pedestals, are the drawings of Ekaterina Zelenova, playing the plots of epics and legends on the pages of the book.
The publication has a large number of photos and black and white illustrations by Ekaterina Zelenova. Tinted offset, matte lamination.
For secondary school age.
The book was published in the series "Pythagorian Pants"
