Back in 1898, the great Russian writer Nikolai Georgievich Garin-Mikhailovsky made an amazing trip to the Far East. Traveling through the provinces of Korea, he recorded fairy tales that subsequently compiled a gold fund of Korean folklore and are still considered a classic of a fabulous epic in Korea.
The Russian writer retained for the history of Korean culture the unique fairy -tale plots transmitted from mouth to mouth, from generation to generation. Humor, good -naturedness, all -bearing, all -around and amazing nobility of the Korean people filled these works.
