The novel Igor. The root of the family ”is the third in the chain of the story of the first Novgorod-Kyiv princes of the period of the formation and development of the Russian principality in the 9th-10th centuries. The reader is already familiar with the novels “Rurik. The flight of the falcon ”and the“ runes of the prophetic Oleg ”, which we wrote in collaboration with Mikhail Nikolayevich Zadornov.
Prince Igor is the first Old Russian prince, whose name is known to both Byzantine and Western sources. In this novel, we outlined a version of historical events, which seems to us logically justified.
Prince Igor, who later named the old, put his stone into the zizhdity of the Russian principality, adequately defended it and strengthened it, without having lost anything previously conquered by his father Raroga- Rurik and uncle Oleg prophet. He laid the foundation for the Rurikovich dynasty, who ruled in Rus" for more than six hundred years
