This study is a detailed commentary on the first 12 songs "Odyssey" Homer. The comment methodological basis is the combination of the principles of the neo-analytic approach with the elements of "oral theory". The main purpose of the work is to study the traces of alternative versions of Odyssey in the text that has come down to us. By its main task, the author of the monograph considers to find instructions on possible parallel version of the story about the return of Odyssey.
