The textbook was prepared in accordance with the State Educational Standard. The textbook is aimed at the formation of environmental thinking students, contains sections on environmental safety, sources and levels of biosphere pollution, and the basics of environmental monitoring. Much attention was paid to state regulation of environmental protection activities, regulatory legal acts establishing sanitary and epidemiological, hygiene requirements but to ensure sanitary and epidemiological well-being. The manual provides a model of hygienic management of the process of reducing the incidence of the population in territories with high anthropogenic load.
