This work is aimed at suggesting the reader the concept of entrepreneurial activities of the subjects of the banking system of Russia. It reflects the criteria for the inclusion of subjects to the banking system of Russia, the essence of their entrepreneurial activity is investigated and ways to unify the principles of the functioning of credit and quasibank organizations, banking infrastructure entities are substantiated.
