J. I. Perelman"s book introduces the reader with certain questions of astronomy, with her wonderful scientific achievements, tells in an exciting form about the most important phenomena of the starry sky. The author shows many seemingly familiar and ordinary phenomena from a completely new and unexpected side and reveals their actual meaning.
Tasks of the book - to deploy a wide picture of world space and what is happening in it of amazing phenomena and arouse interest in one of the most exciting sciences - to the science of the starry sky.
Ya. I. Perelman died in 1942 during the blockade of Leningrad and did not have time to fulfill his intention to write the continuation of this book.
When working on the text, a publication was used: Perelman Ya. I. Entertaining Astronomy. Edition 7th. Edited by P. G. Kulikovsky. - Moscow: State Publishing House of Technical and Theoretical Literature, 1954.
2nd edition corrected
