The collection of enlightenment melody is made up of the spiritual songs of teachers of the Buddhist tradition of karma kague. The collection includes works of the most famous hierarchs of the Tibetan tradition of Kagyu: Marpa, Milapyu, Gamps, Ratchungps and others. The authors were created in different historical periods. About the V century AD. In India and its nearest surroundings, Buddhist Tantra received the spread of Buddhist tantra, and the first communities of yogiov, practitioners of Vajrayan meditation under the leadership of Mahasidddh - teachers who have gained the nature of the nature of the mind on the tantric journey. Yogina and Yogani lived in secluded places - in the mountain caves and in cemeteries, there they lived together, meditated, exchanged experiences and wisdom. It was in this medium that the culture of the so-called vajry songs flourished over time.
In the XI century, the Marpa translator brought the Buddhism of the diamond chariot in Tibet and founded the tradition of Kague. And with Marpi, not only tantra came, comments on them and secret practices, but also the whole spirit of tantric communal life, as well as the tradition of spiritual songs. He connected the symbolism and the spiritual direction of Mahasidddhov songs with the narration of Tibetan chants, which had a whole spiritual epic. Since then, in this line of continuity, tantric poetry is a universal means of transmitting knowledge and direct experience.
In the collection "Melody of Enlightenment", the works of the most famous hierarchs of the Tibetan tradition of Kagyu are included: Marpa (1012-1097), Milafy (1052-1135), Gamps (1079-1153), Ratchungpa (1083 / 4-1161) and others
