Mason Denay, a detective from Vancouver, is transferred to work in a remote town due to personal problems, where everything seems strange to him. To make matters worse, he is immediately faced with a complex, bloody case that remarkably resembles Agatha Christie's 'And Then There Were None'. A seaplane is found by the river with survivors, but it soon becomes clear that the tragedy was not caused by an accident.
