The textbook is intended for universities of the mining and geological profile and sets the goal to teach students to read literature on the specialty and lead a conversation as part of the subject matter. Includes exercises for the development of phonetics, lexical minimum of general and general scientific vocabulary, as well as grammatical material and system of training and creative exercises. In the 4th edition, the textbook textbook was updated, the texts for extracurricular reading were included, the grammar material in the lessons and in the grammatical directory is supplemented, the material on annotation and referencing is included, the system of creative tasks has been expanded, the Anglo-Russian dictionary of the weightshechnical and general scientific vocabulary has been added.
