In the middle of the students there is a misconception that to study a foreign language systematically on a technical specialty is not necessary, because there is an automatic translation, online dictionaries ... As a result, the work of those professionals who still have linguistic competences increases. This publication is focused on the practice of reading and discussing the texts of computer themes in English. It is based on the principle of complication and increase the role of independent work. The first part contains three thematic blocks consisting of texts, vocabulary to each theme and lexical exercises for audit classes. The second part contains texts for discussion. The third part contains texts of increased complexity for independent work of students. The fourth part includes tests, tasks, as well as a dictionary of computer and Internet terms.
