The portfolio for developing assessment and self-assessment independence among younger schoolchildren in English language learning is aimed at accumulating personal experience in educational and cognitive activities, mastering the main components of practical work: the ability to accept an educational task, skills in defining educational operations and their sequence, control and self-control, assessment and self-assessment.
The tasks are compiled in accordance with the Federal State Educational Standard of primary general education and are applicable to current educational programs and teaching materials. The proposed portfolio set will help organize the process of selection and analysis of such samples and products of educational activity of a fourth-grader, such as thematic test works, knowledge maps and self-observations, assessment sheets, diagnostics, comments, and teacher recommendations for targeted orientation of the student towards improving their results in mastering the subject. It is intended for English language teachers of general education institutions, parents for working with children.
