The educational-methodical set 'English in Focus. Grade 4' is designed for students of the 4th grade of general education organizations.
The material was created by an international author team: the Russian publishing house 'Enlightenment' and the British partner publisher Express Publishing (N.I. Bykova, D. Dooly, M.D. Pospelova, V. Evans).
The textbook is designed for 2 hours a week in general education organizations. It has a clear modular structure: an introductory module (Starter Unit) and 4 main modules. Each part is supplemented with a section with authentic materials about Russia, a section about the holiday, additional exercises for developing speaking skills, an additional block of exercises for practicing reading, a grammar reference in Russian. The training is based on oral anticipation and real communication situations. A large number of texts about the culture of English-speaking countries contribute to the formation of a dialogue of cultures. Starting from the 3rd grade, tasks are given in English.
