The purpose of this textbook is to develop skills in speaking and reading technical literature of the automotive profile in English. The texts are thematically organized and provide an overview of the main systems and components of vehicles, materials and equipment used in the automotive industry, methods of troubleshooting, stages of the production process in the automotive industry, etc. It includes a brief terminological dictionary of active vocabulary, a list of irregular verbs, and an English-Russian dictionary of automotive terms. The materials are intended for use in practical classes as well as for self-study.
It meets the requirements of the federal state educational standards of the latest generation of secondary vocational education.
