A description of the main types of by -products and industrial waste by beetroot, meat, dairy, flour and cereal, juice, alcohol and brewerous, starch and potato -deck industries, their characteristics and direction of further processing are considered. The analysis of the applied technology and equipment for processing beet zoma is given. A separate topic is devoted to the consideration of the processing of used plastic containers and packaging of food products. A description of the characteristics and properties of plastic masses is given. A constructive-technological installation scheme for continuous power grinding of the packaging is proposed. The possible options for secondary use of crushed plastic waste for the manufacture of various types of technical products are considered.
