The results of studies of the process of two -dumary double -sided argon -arc welding are given. A mathematical model for the formation of joints of butt joints without cutting welding edges and the supply of filler wire is proposed. The methodology for calculating the optimal parameters of the process is set out. A comparison of the performance and energy efficiency of various welding methods is given without cutting edges. An increase in the performance of the connection in the studied method of welding is shown in comparison with the traditional method of ARDS several times.
