The textbook consists of two sections (6 chapters), in which special attention is paid to the theoretical foundations of tribotechnical diagnostics
In the first section of the book (Chapter 1-3), the problems of the theoretical presentation of friction processes and the annex to the development of methods for diagnosing friction nodes are presented. The approaches from various positions are considered: coordination chemistry, electrochemistry, structural methods of the physicochemistry of solid body, adhesive, molecular-mechanical and kinetic theories of friction.
The second section of the book (chapters 4-6) is devoted to the study of the problems of hydrogen wear of friction nodes. The modern level of tribotechnical and tribochemical experiments is considered. The precision tribotechnical measuring complex is described, which allows you to measure the parameters of friction and wear on the basis of optoelectronic displacement sensors. The stands of extraction and laser selection of gas samples, sorbed in metal, are presented. The methods used for scientific research with their corresponding theoretical representation in the form of various types of prognostic mathematical models can be the basis for the diagnosis of friction nodes.
The content of the textbook meets the current requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard of Higher Education. The book is addressed to students of the magistracy and specialty students in the direction of Mechanical Engineering, as well as graduate students and teachers of higher technical educational institutions.
It is recommended that the higher education as a textbook for university students studying in engineering and technical areas
