The functioning of the transport system from the position of logistics is considered, an economic analysis of transport at the macroeconomic and regional levels is carried out, and the issues of transport management at the level of an industrial enterprise are studied. The relationship of transport with other subsystems of an industrial enterprise was disclosed: procurement, warehousing, and the issue of stock management was studied. Methods of choosing carriers are presented, a characteristic of vehicles, the criteria for their choice are given, evaluative indicators of road transport are given.
