Before you is a unique book dedicated to the history of domestic and world tractor construction. For readers, information about the first samples of tractor technology and existing models, their improvement and modern use in various sectors of the economy is collected and structured. The results of the rivalry of inventors from different firms and countries, including Russia, are also presented.
The scientific concept of this publication is based on the analysis of the historical and economic prerequisites for the development of tractor building, ranging from the origin of the tractor as a replacement of lively traction force to the transformation of development in this area of tractor building into an obligatory attribute of any industrial power that ensures its national security.
