This manual was prepared for the publication on the basis of lectures by Professor G. M. Mosygin in the discipline “Theory of Optical Electronic Systems”, which he read to students of the department “Laser and Optical Electronic Systems” MSTU named after N.E. Bauman. The aim of the discipline is the effective development of methods of mathematical modeling of optical-electronic devices used in the implementation of basic design procedures for analysis and parametric optimization.
