Modern ideas about the processes of melting cast iron in coke and coke -gas vagrans using various methods of intensification and extraid processing of liquid cast iron are presented. Particular attention is paid to the designs of heavy coasters with a continuous long mode of operation using the chemical and physical heat of vagra gas and modern methods of cleaning them. The methods of improving the quality of cast iron by desulfuration, modification, filtering of metal during spilling are considered.
