The theory of the weldability of steels and alloys

The theoretical and practical aspects of the welding of structural steels and alloys are considered. Experimental methods for evaluating welding indicators using welding technological samples and specialized machine tests are given. The possibility of using calculated methods implemented using computer technologies based on specialized software is shown. Based on the analysis of metallurgical processes in the welding bath, crystallization of the weld metal, phase and structural transformations in solid metal during the welding thermal cycle, the results of the welding assessment are interpreted. Principal metallurgical, technological and constructive methods for ensuring sufficient welding of steels and alloys are presented.
