The training manual discusses the processes of making clothes from fur semi -finished products and the ways of rational use of natural fur. The characteristics and quality indicators of fur semi -finished products for clothing are presented. The processes of preparing the skins for cutting, the main methods of cutting various types of fur-fur semi-finished products, methods of removing defects of the skins are considered.
Modern methods of using fur semi -finished products in sewing enterprises have been investigated. The features of the technology of manufacturing clothes made of natural fur, the characteristic of the equipment used, some lining and applied materials are considered. The nature and frequency of occurrence of waste from natural fur has been investigated, waste topography was identified, the main factors affecting the nature and size of the waste of natural fur were determined. Classification of various types of waste has been performed. The methods of rational use of natural fur waste in enterprises are considered. Recommendations are given on further improvement of ways of rational use of natural fur.
