F-14 "Tomkat" for more than thirty years, from 1974 to 2006, was the main fighter-interceptor of the US deck aircraft. It was the "Tomkata", or "Cats Zabiyaki", who played the main role in the cult film "Top Gun", managing to overshadow the Hollywood stars on the screen. This two -seater with a two -kilometer plumage and a wing of the variable swimming capacity could not only gain superiority in the air in the immediate vicinity of the aircraft carriers, but also strike at tactical purposes, both surface and ground.
