The book considers deformation and destruction of the metal of the equipment of nuclear reactors for radiation and thermal influences.
Data on thermal and radiation creeps are compared, a change in mechanical properties and swelling of the material during neutron irrigation has been discussed. The effect of the cooling medium on corrosion fatigue and the stress corrosion of austenitic steel is considered. The features of cyclic deformation in neutron irradiation conditions are analyzed. Corrosion growth of cracks with constant and cyclic loads is considered. Destruction criteria for various working conditions are given.
The phenomenological description of the experimental data with thermal and radiation creep is given. Kinetic equations are proposed for complex loading, as well as the methodology for calculating non -stationary thermoplastic tasks. Recommendations for the practical use of the results are given.
