The physics and circuitry of the construction and functioning of modern pyrometers, including energy pyrometers and pyrometers of spectral relations, have been considered. Significant attention is paid to the modern element base - microprocessors and microcontrollers, the features of their use in measuring technique. Examples of constructing pyrometers nodes on elements of microprocessor technology are given. The issues of metrological support of pyrometry, the reference base, calibration schemes, as well as the features of the application and correction of modern pyrometers of spectral relations, their advantages over energy pyrometers are considered.
