The textbook considers the whole complex of basic issues related to the geology, extraction and processing of natural gas, oil and coal.
In section I describes: the history of gas, oil and coal production, the current state and features of the development of the fuel and energy complex, the challenges facing the oil and gas industry. Section II is dedicated to the search and exploration of hydrocarbon deposits, hypotheses of their origin, the features of the occurrence and formation. Section III describes the technologies of drilling wells, extraction, preparation and transportation of oil and gas, methods of increasing oil recovery and gas production of collectors. Section IV is devoted to technology and mechanization of the development of coal deposits. Section V discusses the issues of oil, gas and coal processing.
Test questions for the independent work of students and answers to them are presented in all sections of the textbook.
