System theory and system analysis

The basic principles of a systematic approach to the study of systems of various nature and origin are outlined. The basic provisions of the interdisciplinary scientific direction - the theory of systems and system analysis are formulated. The methodology of system research as a set of information processes is described. The structure of information objects and the tasks of their interpretation are analyzed. The possibilities and restrictions on modeling complex systems are shown in order to choose optimal managerial solutions. The basic methodology for conducting system analysis is described in resolving problems. The main approaches to assessing the quality and effectiveness of complex systems, including the quality of managerial solutions and the effectiveness of management processes, were discussed. Within the framework of the general decision -making task, sources of uncertainty are considered, which prevents the operational choice of optimal decisions, and ways to reduce it.
