The general issues of metrological support and units of physical quantities are considered. The main tasks of the technical means of metrological support in the field of electro -radio measurements are set out. Methods of reproduction of units of physical quantities based on modern scientific and technical achievements using quantum effects and fundamental physical constants are given. The structural schemes and the technical implementation of modern primary, secondary and working standards with a description of their metrological characteristics are considered. Methods of transmitting the size of units of physical quantities from the primary standards and structural schemes of calibration attitudes based on state and local calibration schemes are given. Estimates of the errors and uncertainty of primary and working standards are given.
