The work considers issues that arise in the implementation of new innovative remote methods that are almost not used by Russian oil and gas companies. The experience of practical work and experimental methods accumulated over three decades shows that they are able to solve and solve the problems of forecasting hydrocarbons, their local forecast and the determination of resources at the prepotive stage. That is, distance methods are the only, low-cost and operational means of forecast assessment of inaccessible, low and unexplored subsoil sections.
For exploration and operational stages, they are capable of in combination with seismic exploration and drilling data to detail the structure of tanks. The implementation of this task is carried out by identifying micro- and low-amplifying breakdown disorders playing the role of through channels and variable barriers. They have a significant impact on the system of permeability of the tanks and, therefore, determine the placement of operational wells. Thus, distance methods ensure the receipt of a priori geological information in conditions of high uncertainty of decision -making and a more reliable forecast.
The book is intended for specialists in the field of exploration and development of oil and gas fields, heads of higher and middle level of oil and gas companies, as well as students and graduate students of higher educational institutions of the oil and gas profile
