The 31 project based on the ARDUINO microcontroller project was considered, in which it is shown how to make electronic devices exchange data and respond to commands. It is shown how to change the settings of the home air conditioner, “calling it” from your smartphone, how to create your own game and video controllers interacting on the network, how to use Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Lora and infrared radiation to obtain information from sensors and organize the interaction of objects. Working with four software platforms and open source libraries has been considered: Arduino IDE 1.8, Processing, Node.js and P5.js. The third edition added new projects, the use of not only Arduino UNOs, but also Arduino 101, Arduino MKR1000, ESP32, ESP8266 and RASPBERRY PI, and security issues were also described in projects.
