The training manual summarizes and systematized information about gas turbine installations of transport vessels, a fundamental device, design and main directions of improving ship turbine engines are considered, systems serving gas turbine units are described, and the basics of technical operation of shipwear installations are given.
The manual takes into account the current national and international regulatory documents on the technical operation of shipwear of gas turbine installations and was developed on the basis of the experience of training ship mechanical engineers in the Black Sea Higher Naval School named after P.S. Nakhimova.
