The methodology for modeling electronic devices using the Micro-CAP v.9.x program, v.10.x company Spectrum Software (http://www.spectrum-soft.com/) has been considered. A brief excursion is presented that demonstrates the main features of the program, examples of modeling various classes of electronic devices are given, then detailed reference information on the use of Micro-CAP is given.
Practical recommendations are presented that significantly simplify the process of obtaining working models of complex electronic circuits. The parameters of components models and methods of creating models based on reference parameters are described. The features of digital components are set out in detail. The procedure for the synthesis of passive and active filters is considered. The description of the features of the program is accompanied by a large number of examples illustrating the construction of modeling schemes, methods of setting electronic components, conducting various types of analysis and processing the results.
