The monograph outlines the scientific and methodological foundations of choosing the method of applying coatings, designing technological processes of hardening and restoring the wear of the wear surfaces of parts using the system of engineering calculations and information support of the technologist. The mathematical model of plasma spraying of materials with various thermal conductivity and methods of criteria assessment of the technical and technological capabilities of plasma methods of applying coatings are given. The methods and results of experimental studies are described, an analysis of the operating conditions and the reasons for the loss of performance of the processing equipment of the agro -industrial complex was carried out. A scientific and methodological approach was proposed to substantiating the appropriateness of the restoration and hardening of the working bodies and parts of expensive imported technological equipment. Mathematical models describing the physical processes occurring during plasma application of various functional purposes are proposed. The structure of the algorithm for solving problems of hardening and restoration of worn parts with plasma methods based on a complex CAE system is proposed.
