The monograph discusses the issues of the calculated assessment of the reliability of reserved restored secondary power sources used in electronic means of responsible purpose. On the example of data processing centers, the correspondence of their reliability indicators regulated in international standards and reliability indicators regulated in the domestic standard is shown. On the example of server equipment, typical errors are shown when assessing the reliability of the constituent parts of data centers with calculated methods.
Using an example of a modular source of uninterrupted nutrition, calculations of the characteristics of the reliability of its power modules and indicators of the sufficiency of the SIP system according to passport data are given. An analysis of the refusal -resistant uninterrupted power systems regulated in the international standards of topologists was carried out and it is shown that along with reservation to ensure their reliability, the influence of the conditions and modes of the use of uninterrupted nutrition and SIP systems must be taken into account. On the example of a typical power module, the features of the functioning of its nodes and the influence of their regimes and the conditions of application on their reliability and the reliability of the source of uninterrupted nutrition as a whole are considered.
Typical methods of reservation of power modules in the main-modular sources of secondary power supply, as well as mixed reservation with rotation and methods for controlling the rotation of modules, are considered. For these reserved groups, reliability calculations are given taking into account the influence of electrical loads, waiting modes and failures when connecting/switching power modules.
