The issues of energy conservation in welding production are highlighted. Contact relief welding as a promising type of welding pressure is considered. Attention was paid to the possibility of obtaining embossed joints both with the melting of the metal of the welded parts, and without melting (in a solid phase) by implementing cyclograms of heating of an interelectrode zone, different from recommended in the literature.
