The issues of increasing reliability and ensuring the safety of electric networks with a voltage of 380 V with single -phase short circuits are considered. The methods of theoretical and experimental studies using an experimental electric network, physical and computer models are described. A new methodology for arranging a means of protecting the air line with a voltage of 380 V with single -phase short circuits is presented by sectioning it.
