Power electronics is a rapidly developing direction of technology, the purpose of which is to reduce the masses and dimensions of power supply devices of electronic equipment and electric motors. Today it is already impossible to imagine a computer, a video camera, a DVD player, a TV without a compact and reliable impulse source. Unfortunately, in recent years there has been an acute shortage of literature on this subject. The second edition of the book is largely processed and supplemented. Available language tells about the basics of designing pulsed power supply devices, about a promising element base, features of its use and optimal choice, and practical constructions are given. In detail it is described about "difficult questions" and "underwater stones" of circuitry. Non -traditional directions are also affected, such as the creation of high -frequency ballasts for daylight lamps and electronic power proceedings of the power coefficient. The book will be useful to specialists-developers of power equipment, university students, repair specialists and radio amateurs.
