Modern analysis of the effectiveness of additives in the processes of pipeline transport

Modern ideas about the movement of single-phase and two-phase water-carbon media (oil and products of their processing) from the point of view of hydrodynamics are presented. The main methods of reducing hydraulic resistance are given, including the effect of TOS and methods for their assessment. An analysis of laboratory tests is presented to assess the effectiveness of additives of various types, taking into account the peculiarities of their application. The mechanisms of action of reagents are proposed taking into account the emerging synergistic effects. The evaluation of a decrease in the energy costs of pumping oil emulsions using reagent compositions is given.
