The guide for novice designers is written in the form of practical projects for building mobile robots. For their implementation, a popular Arduino platform and a single basic four -wheeled design were selected. The complexity of projects increases from a simple, controlled from the Mashka remote control to an intelligent speaking robot. It is told how to manage motors, assemble mechanics and electronics, program the basic functions and control the robot. Robots will be able to bypass obstacles, get out of confusing labyrinths, look for cigers and determine their colors, navigate the electronic compass, gyroscope and even balance on two wheels.
In the 2nd editions, all algorithms were updated, projects were added by a gyroscope-acelerometer, a talking robot, voice control of a robot, mechanical "hand", etc.
