In the first part of this textbook, the methods of designing and constructive implementation of microwave devices were considered: the transmission lines of various types, resonators, filters, phasor-breeders, attenuers, trigeminal joints, directed branches, various bridge joints, ferrite devices (valves, circulators, phasor-reflectors) and microwave) and microwave devices on semiconductor diodes. Examples of the use of microwave devices in radio communications, radar, measuring equipment, etc. are given.
In the second part, the main sections of the theory and technology of antennas are considered. The issues of calculating and constructing various types of antennas (from vibrator to shutter and antenna gratings, including phased) are highlighted. The main attention is paid to the antennas of the microwave and the calculations of their electromagnetic fields in the near zone, which is very important when solving the problems of electromagnetic compatibility.
The book included the original material received by the authors. In particular, a self -compiled method of calculating the electromagnetic field of antennas is described, which allows to carry out a continuous transition from the field on the radiating surface of the antenna to the field outside it and vice versa. This method is also called the method of physical regulation.
The textbook is intended for specialties: 210400 "Radio Engineering" and 210601 "Radio Electronic Systems and Complexes". It can be used by the developers of microwave equipment and antenna-feeder devices
