The most important characteristic of microprocessor systems is productivity. The performance of the microprocessor is linearly depends on the three characteristics - its frequency, the average frequency for the implementation of instructions and the number of instructions in the selected area of the program. In turn, these characteristics are determined by manufacturing technology, microprocessor architecture, command systems and compilation technology. The presented book discusses the problems of improving these characteristics, as well as the methods and methods of designing high -performance computing systems.
