The training manual outlines general information about metalworking machines, automatic machine lines, robotic technological complexes. The classification of metalworking machines, the main criteria for assessing the performance of the machine, typical parts and nodes (including mechatron) machine, design calculations are given. The devices and kinematic schemes of universal and specialized machines with manual controls, turning machines and semiautomatic devices, electrophysicochemical (EFH) processing, modern machines with numerical control (CNC), as well as aggregate machines are considered. Multipurpose machines for the processing of corps blanks and rotation bodies of horizontal and vertical layout with an antishpindel, automatic tool change and auto operators are described.
